LANVIN TO DESIGN EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION FOR H&M THIS AUTUMN

H&M is proud to announce that its next designer collaboration will be with Lanvin, one of the most

influential brands of the 21st century. Designed by Lanvin’s artistic director Alber Elbaz, and

menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, the collection will go on sale on November 23 in around 200

H&M stores worldwide. The collection of both womenswear and menswear will be revealed to the

world on November 2, just three weeks before the clothes hit the store, making the launch of Lanvin

for H&M among the most anticipated fashion events of the year.

Better late than never, but never late is better. I am sooo ready.

While preparing for fall and cleaning out the ghosts of seasons past in my closet, I came across roughly six pairs of liquid leggings (they all fit differently I swear). Not wanting to cut what had become staple items in my very limited collection of "everyday appropriate wear", down to two strong pairs began searching for inspiration. 

 Les Copains Fall/Winter 2010-2011 collection gave fresh new takes on how to pair leather, or in my case leather like leggings with unexpected threads, such as camel colored leather shorts, black shift dress', chunky cable knits and my absolute favorite, leather upon leather done seamlessly without the biker chick feel. 

  Who says you cant re-invent the wheel. I feel inspired and resourceful, ready to make what seemed old, brand new all over again. Armed with houndstooth prints, charcoals, and deep sultry navy, I am ready to not only re-invent the wheel but to ride full speed ahead through the Winter.
