Misssoni X Target My Top Picks!

As we all know by now, the Target X Missoni collection is set to hit the stores on September 13 through October 22, and you will be able to shop the collection at Target stores and target.com. After past collaborations with Converse, Havaianas, and Bugaboo, the well known knit wear brand takes on the massive retailer. The collection consist of 400 pieces, ranging in price from $7.99– $199.99. From men's women's children and home, it can get quite overwhelming so, I've done the dirty work for you. Here are a few of my most favorite pieces from the collection excluding children and men's. I only speak of what I know and trust me I have no idea of what children nor men like to wear. Here are my top picks!

Jean Paul Gaultier & Target

Up next at Target will be Jean Paul Gaultier. Out of the last designer collaborations between, Alexander Mcqueen, Ana Sui, Rodarte and a sneak peek of the upcoming Zac Posen, Im really loving the direction of this collection. I love the  jackets, the gloves and the belted floral dress. Debuting on on March & 7th and available through April 11th. Previously designers are asked to choose a muse, inspiring the collection. Ana Sui, chose Gossip Girls, McQueen, Leila Moss and Gaultier chose the material girl herself Madonna. I am so R E A D Y.

Lightly Shaded..Rodarte for Target

Its been everywhere, the rumors the preiview the countdown the shipment, the results the reviews. Rodarte for Target has finally arrived and has been seen in magazines everywhere. I am a huge fan of Rodarte and when first hearing of the collaboration I was very much looking forward to it.  Unfortunately when I saw the preview for the collection, I was slightly confused. This wasn't the Rodarte I've grown to know and love. This seemed more Rachel Roy, Tracey Reese. Whom I both love and admire except this was suppose to be Rodarte. I felt a little jaded, so I held off on purchasing anything.  Recently I decided to give it a try and I went and tried on a few pieces. Hmm. I felt the pieces looked best layered and not standing alone and the quality left something to be desired. I understand this is target, but I also understood this was Rodarte, and I was expecting a little more quality wise. Though the available hoodie felt like it was made of sand paper the t-shirts were pretty cool, and the cardigans were ok, but I loved way more when layered with the tulle dress and my handy fur collar! I wasn't able to find the all the pieces that I was interested in like the belts and black cardigan. But I was able to find a few cool items. See below photos. (Excuse the fuzzy camera phone photos, undone hair and makeup-less face)

I ended up purchasing the black and white sequin animal print dress, grey cardigan, and nude color tulle dress. My favorite out of all my items is the grey cardigan, its goes great over the dresses and I imagine when paired with jeans and t-shirt will pull the look together.
