Beginning her career as a florist prior to balloon art, with the launch of Daisy Balloon; Japanese artist Rie Hosokai, uses latitude an longitude balloons to create couture statement dresses. Similar to working with fabric as the balloons must be manipulated and weaved together, to create gravity defying fashions that are sure to be the topic of conversation at any event.

This editorial was one of my top favorites of the cluster of Septmeber issues I am currently indulged in. I really love the fluid movement of the gowns, tailored suiting and of course sequin jumpsuit. At times, especially in the most important issue of the year the editorials seem so dreamy and at times farfetched and you may often think to yourself, in the event of having access to all of these great looks, how would I pull them off? Luckily two of the looks featured in this editorial, designed by Dolce & Gabbana as well as Stella McCartney have been seen on variety of different celebrities. This year at Fashion Night Out on September 8th, Chanel will launch its new exclusive nail collection Les Jeans. Created by Peter Philips, Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, these chic colors Blue Rebel, Blue Boy and Coco Blue, will be available through the end of the month, across the country and on chanel.com I advise to plan ahead, Remember the craze for Chanel limited edition Les Khakis De Chanel collection? Or Like Chanel's Jade Nail color?? Im sure I had someone's DNA under my nails clawing for that turquoise shade. See below;

While I'm not the fondest of the lippy selections as I couldn't bring myself to donning purple lipstick. I am absolutely enamora with the paint pot shades. In the past I have found paint pots to be incredible as a base to building eyeshadow or even worn alone. These latest hues, can really compliment a well beat face. My most favorite are the various deep shades of purple, Genuine Treasure, Imaginary is a sexy twisted dream that i want to have every night and last but certainly not least Nubile, and peachy tan paint pot shade.

Dinner at La Estufa Resturant

My very good friend invited me out to dinner at one of her favorite restaurants in Inwood La Estufa. She is very particular about where and what she eats, and when she mentioned we were headed to an organic restaurant I was skeptical. To my most pleasant surprise, we had a wonderful time. The candlelit Italian-American fusion restaurant was intimate, and quaint we were tended to by friendly knowledgeable staff. The food however, nothing short of amazing;

Starting clockwise we had Lobster Empanadas, Organic Chicken Breaset, Sauteed Spinach in garlic and Olive Oil, and Lamb Skewers

If you follow my very random twitter account, you may recall me raving about having lunch with my dear friend and sniffing completely up her arm after having been intrigued by a scent that was so light and delicate, with soft floral hints.
